To view Wooltack Bay from land you take a 1 mile walk from the Skomer boat trip car par (£5 or free with disabled Blue Badge) around the beautiful headland that over looks Skomer and Skokholm islands. We took our two dogs (must be on...More

This is a headland overlooking Skomer and Jack sound, a very dangerous tide race. It is popular with fishermen who scramble down to the waters edge, not to be attempted by the unexperienced. But up the top a great viewing point for birds, porpoise, and...More

Just spent a week in the cottage right next to Wooltack Point, what a lovely spot. So much scenery and wildlife, our group spanned ages from 5 to 70, all had a great time. The highlight---2 Merlins chasing a meal just outside the house.

This is a fantastic spot. The weather forecast had been poor but fortunately it proved to be false and we had a bright breezy morning. As we arrived one of the wardens pointed out a bank where reptiles like to soak up the sun; amazingly...More

This was simply our best coastal walk so far. We parked our car at the Marloes NT car park and were handed a leaflet that gave the directions to a 5 mile circular walk that takes in Wooltack point. We started by taking a detour...More

Wooltack Point is owned by the National Trust, is a headland to the west of Marloes at the southern end of St Bride's Bay. Wow, what a wonderful area with fabulous views and walks along the cliffs looking down over craggy rocks. It is really...More
