Great pub by the river in Marsden. Always a warm welcome. Amazing choice of real ales and delicious ciders. Good wines available too! Avoid weekends as too many ale trailers in there.

If you like real beer this is a must. Lovely spot at the edge of the weir and with a selection of very good micro brewed ales. The staff are excellent and very knowledgable.

Had good beer, good food, pleasant staff. Situated in an old grocer’s shop, completely refurbished but still the old windows. Great outdoor area by the side of the river, lovely on a Sunny day, though They can be few and far between in Marsden.

Been coming here, off on on, for the past sixteen years. Always had good service and a decent pint. My choice of pub when visiting Marsden.

Not been for years so thought I’d give it a whirl. Pretty good. Fine selection of ales and good atmosphere with mixed clientele. Had some food. Cracking burger and chips. Went down a storm. Toilets a bit rancid though. Need a proper clean for me.

We popped in for lunch whilst doing the Transpennine Ale Trail, and were glad we did when comparing the menus of some of the other pubs in town. Staff were pleasant and prompt - would recommend. Tip - it gets quite busy if you are...More
