A great place to stop and reflect a while. The weather was overcast and quite windy which just added to the immense sense of loss I felt here. A superb memorial and an absolutely beautiful building set in a remarkable part of the world.

From the cliff, you will have a look over the city and see the fishing boats coming in and out the harbor. The church has a nice facade and the inside is telling stories about difficult fishing or war campaigns with plaques. Interesting.

You can walk there from the town center. It is a lovely walk through the oldest part of Dieppe, up the hill, with great view of Dieppe.
This little chapel is now dedicated mostly to those who died at sea.
