A very large collection of both automated toys and figures dating from the end of the 19th centiry to the 1960s. Beautifully presented, both as individual figures and as set pieces. The route around the museum is well planned and a knowledge of French is...More

Lived this place - really well designed to lead you through the exhibition and some amazing automatons - many that were totally freaky! Great way to spend an hour.

It is rare to find so many historical automated characters under one roof. It is a charming feature of history, much of it related to old fashioned department stores which are not often found today but are fondly remembered by us mature folk! These automs...More

A wonderful display of beautiful moving marionettes. Some real skill in this. Kids will love it, but I think adults will appreciate the craftsmanship more. Just make sure you don't come between 12.30-2.00pm as it will be closed for lunch.

If you love antique toys, hand carved puppets, etc don't miss this marvelous place. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the best museums I've seen. I wish I could fill my house with these charming treasures.

I had a rather strange experience here as I was the only one in the museum on my visit. Some of the exhibits come to life as you go round - triggered by a sensor, others have a little video of them in animation, but...More
