Since we went during January the gates were closed and no waterfall. Best time to visit during September or October.

The view of the damn of awesome , the roads are too curvy and need expert deivers only. This is enroute the mallikarjuna temple .u can do boating in the river if u drive downhill

If you are visiting HYD then ensure you visit Srisailam which is 4 hours away and post your Shiva temple visit do visit the dam via APTDC boat... its worth visiting

it was not open when we went on 5th oct. only Govt authorities can say whether it will be opened or not.
