Description:

Our school offers high quality kitesurfing and windsurfing tuition with IKO...

Our school offers high quality kitesurfing and windsurfing tuition with IKO certified instructors (International Kitesurfing Organization) with the latest and safest equipment. We are located in Nonsuch Bay, on the windward shore of Antigua, where the trade winds blow strong and constant. The bay is completely closed by the reef and offers a condition of warm and flat water, ideal to learn and progress. Updated equipment, newest teaching methods and power boat assistance make the best combination for your perfect learning experience.
The kitesurfing lessons will start from the beach of Green Island, a tiny island windward to Nonsuch bay, with white sand and crystal blue water; a perfect landing/launching area for kites.

I kited at this location for the first time in February 2016. As everyone knows, Antigua is known for its outstanding beaches. But great beaches don't automatically produce great kite beaches. 40 Knots has solved this problem. They have set up shop in a premium resort on the east side of the island on Nonsuch Bay. They run an instruction... More

My 17 year old son and I had 4 half day lessons and were able to go for prolonged periods in straight lines as a result. Great introduction to the sport with warm water and onshore breezes. Instructors mixed having a good time with a good background focus on safety.

If Carlesberg had a kite school it would probably be at "Non Such Bay and use 40 knot Instructors" Very friendly team, great equipment, perfect location and would recommend this school to everyone wishing to learn or just kite whilst in Antigua.

Was kiting for 14 days with the team from 40knots, it is not cheap, but worth every penny - the spot is amazing, small beach but flat water and rescue, also had 4h private lessons, and they made me fully independent as well as my fiancé. Highly recommended and hope to be there soon again.

We spent a few days in this plesant bay with our sailing yacht Grace to learn kiting. Had done a few lessons in advance, and the goal was to get up on the board and ride. We were two persons taking lessons, one adult and a girl of 10. After two days, goal has been acomplished. The school is very... More

The windsurfing was wonderful and the instructors were excellent. We had planned to go only once but went back again because it was such a good experience. Beautiful location and reliable winds.

Fab facilities, great instruction and perfect location - the ideal intro to kitesurfing. It does not get much better than this: Beautiful resort location, unspoilt bay, the gorgeous Green Island as a tuition base. Big thanks to Suzi and her team we're hooked! Laurence Ellie and Dan
