We were walking Glydwr's Way, and wanted a drink after our B&B dinner. Friendly service, decent beer, and impressed that such a small hamlet supports a pub. Opens at 8, try the door round the back.

We stayed at the Happy Union Stables next door to the pub and visited the pub one night. Friendly staff, cracking local beer and conversations with locals and visitors alike. The pub is open from 8pm onwards and doesn't serve food-just so you know! Played...More
