Garden worth a visit
Sep 2021
A hidden breath of fresh air just off the road. Late summer so a bit jaded, but a lovely setting . Fab wooden structures and amazing granite benches. Seats available everywhere to enjoy the atmosphere. Lovely lakes with lilies and bridges.
Courtyard a bit jade but interesting gallery and good pottery.
Garden dog friendly
Tea room not tried by us.

Lovely gardens but watch out for dodgy sat nav routes!

The weather was sadly not great when we visited (could have been worse though!) but we still enjoyed walking around the gardens, having tea and cake in the cafe (although it was more expensive than some other, similar cafes) and looking in the shops and galleries where local artists work.

Beware - if visiting do NOT type ‘Hilton Court Gardens’ into your phone for directions. I did this, and even though it came up with the full title of the exact place we wanted to visit and a picture, the phone then took us completely in the opposite direction down to Pembroke Docks. When I put the actual post code in from the website, it worked fine. Annoying to waste so much time and petrol thanks to the stupid iphone!

Thoroughly enjoyed

Beautiful day in a beautiful peaceful hidden part of the county. Kids loved it, plenty of space to run around. Clean and tidy even though dogs are allowed. We ate a lovely picnic by the lake whilst the kids played in a small house nearby. Beautiful thank you

Serene tranquility.
Sep 2021
This is a beautifully arranged and tranquil garden and woodland trail set around a stunning ornamental lake / pond with a collection of interesting art / craft shops selling some unique and unusual pieces. The cafe is a delightful place to sit and while away the time over a tea and cake. The staff are all really friendly and the place has a magical serenity. There are some nice diversions for children too. We were staggered to overhear someone demanding a refund of the astonishingly low entrance fee (around £4) because they said "no effort had been made in the gardens". We later learned this has been the 40 year labour of love by the founder of this enchanting place and the incredible efforts that must have gone into creating and maintaining this treasure are clear for all to see. We were left scratching our heads at the bizarrely unhappy universe this strange and ungrateful person inhabits. Thank goodness there are wonderfully hard working and creative people with the vision to create such beauty.

What a lovely gem of a place. Very pleasantly surprised. Hilton court is great for young and old. The little houses are a delight and the strategically placed seating was a fabulous idea. Will definately return. Oh and the cafe lovely!

Lovely day out
Aug 2021 • Family
I went here with my mother. The gardens were beautiful and the little houses were great for children and adults alike. I have recommended the place to my brother to take my niece. The restaurant wasn’t open and food choice was limited in cafe - sandwiches, soup or cakes. The gallery was lovely too. Would definitely return. We came when it was raining and didn’t get to do it all sadly.

A lovely place to visit
Aug 2021 • Friends
We travelled here on a damp and wet August morning. The pottery was very interesting and we were given a warm welcome. There were lots of wonderful things to see and buy, and we were encouraged to make visit to the gardens which, we were told, were lovely, even in the bad weather. So, after a hot drink, we headed into the gardens which were indeed lovely. We’d recommend a visit if you are in the area.
