I didn't know about the place before but my friend is Estonian and her family goes to this place every year! We arrived by car. Entrance was 4 Euros for students. There is a lot to explore because there are many floors and stairs. You can even get lost. You can spend 1 hour here if you wish to see all rooms and take many photos.

The partly renovated abbey is a beautiful place. If you are interested in history or old buildings, this is definetely worth a visit.

If Padise is a stop that your tour is stopping, then the monastery is a cool place to visit. Its Tower also provides a free-to-hike observation deck that allows some panoramic view of the countryside.

We stopped here as part of our tour. Our tour guide brought in someone she knew to give us the history of the monastery and it was amazing. This isn't the most beautiful place you will visit, but it is the oldest and rich in history. You are able to freely explore the monastery, which was surprising, but we took full advantage of it.

In France, we usually can not explore compltetely this kind of monument, because of security resctrictions. Here in Padise Abbey, you're free to go anywhere you want. So you can realize how huge and preserved it is. On the top of the abbey, you benefit of a great view of a quiet Estonian landscape.

The abbey is fun to explore and surprisingly well reserved. But I wouldn't specifically travel to see this sight. Still, a great half an hour going through layers of history.

Very nice and well kelp ruins. Good for a walk, not hard obstructions, so eazy to look around. Plenty of space and lots of corners to think about life and history.

It is a very nice place to visit. It is not by the main roads, but it is worth to choose these tracks and to feel the history!
