Took our family here during a cloudy day at PCB. This is truly a "hidden gem"! The trails, beach access and scenery are fantastic. There is a small welcome center with some "artifacts". The park ranger was very friendly and helpful.

I just looked on Camp Helen's website and found the following about pets: "Pets are permitted in designated areas only. Where allowed, pets must be kept on a hand-held leash, no longer than six feet and well behaved at all times. Service animals are welcome in all areas of the parks."
