Took three children aged 10, 8 & 8 round this. They loved it. They got their face painted and threw spears. They even sat through an hour talk on how to start a fire, in French, with only a few key words in English. The...More

I was surprised at the extent of the site, which is based around a Neolithic grave site, and the range of indoor and outdoor activities on offer. The interior part of the exhibition is quite high-tech and very informative in a way that really holds...More

We have been to this prehistoric site and museum a number of times. It's a great set up, educational and the kids as well as the adults love it. Lots of recreations, exhibits, animations and hands on material. Cafe on site serving food, cold drinks...More

I've visited Paleosite with my family. This was very nice and I really like introducing movies and face morphs. On a sidenote too few English instructions.

Visited on recommendation of friends, on a return visit to the area after 10 years. We had little time so had to hurry round. The initial presentation was simplistic and over done, Big Bang to K-T boundary in 30secs, with absurd voice-over by the H...More

Loved it - weird but great fun. Three 'set' rooms then various bits of entertainment round the site. The 'morphing' room never seems quite to work - but cave painting and fire making were a big hit. We've been a couple of times now with...More

Great place to go to, interesting and enjoyable. Much laughter morphing faces and shapes into Neanderthal at end. Plenty to see and do too (sadly spear throwing wasn't open - we were out of season)

Really good day out, educational as well as fun. Visit consists of 3 very interesting films then wandering around the site. You could try your hand at spear throwing and lighting a fire. A Neanderthal man walks round the site and I'd happy to pose...More
