Having spent three weeks in Floripa, I really don't think Campeche Island is the "number 2 thing to do" as TripAdvisor rankings suggest. It's a beautiful beach, but nothing more. In fact there are plenty of other beaches in Floripa just as unspoilt and free...More

We took a boat from Barra da Lagoa to Ilha do Campeche. The boat trip itself offered beautiful scenery of the island (see pictures). We ate some incredibly fresh shrimp on the island (though not cheaply!) And then we enjoyed the stunning white sandy beaches...More

A very beautiful island to visit with a nice organised walk. BUT...the boot trip towards the island is very expensive indeed (100 rs or so)

Amazing place just minutes by boat from Campeche beach. The island is totally preserved, only few locals live there. On the east side of the island there are pre-historical drawings.
