We were mob handed. Both my children and their families. Kids from 10 months to 15 years and we all enjoyed the little trip on the train. It was all dressed up for Halloween so that added even more to the trip

Visited as part of a Newmarket Holidays tour. Nice old fashioned station with a good cafe. Good to travel on a steam train, but it was very slow.

The volunteers dressed as witches and wizards really made a great trip with quizzes & sweets for the children. The station at haverthwaite has very good playground for kids, a lovely woodland walk, good cafe, parking and steam trains! Brilliant.

there is wheelchair access, however, I don't know the costs, I would expect it to be the same as everyone else.
