Experience the 1,500-acre country estate and former home of five generations of the Thompson family located in southwestern Ontario in rural Haldimand County. Mansion tours continue in Fall 2017 from Wednesday to Sunday (inclusive), every hour on the hour from 12pm onwards with the last tour leaving at 3pm. Last day of scheduled tours will be Thanksgiving Monday!

Such a beautiful setting with an impressive historic stone home and many walking paths. If you are lucky you will be there on a day when they are tagging birds. This is an interesting and inspiring experience. Definitely worth a visit to Ruthven Park.More

Unlike some other house museums, Ruthven is kept in the state lived in by its final occupants, family members in the 1970s. You can thus actually see layers and changes from over a century of usage and many generations of the Thompson family. Fascinating! Tour...More

We attended a wedding in the Coach House. It was perfect ! Lots of room in and out for guests to move about. I wish the no smoking policy was for the entire site.
