This replica of one of the most important Buddhist site is quite beautiful. Better enjoy it when the sun is not too harsh!

It's an impressive pagoda/temple. But it takes around 30 mins to look around it all. Stunning architecture. Around 30 mins from hotel area of city. Free entry. No shoes or socks allowed

This is the one place you have to go when you visit Nay Pyi Taw because it beautiful and clearly a very good replica of Budda Gaya in Nay Pyi Taw. It is very easy to drive up and so ideal for "in-car tourists".

This pagoda is famous among local people as Nay Pyi Taw's Buddha Gaya (Buddha Gaya is located in India). The stupa is built as same replica of Maha Bawdi Pagoda in India (Maha Bayan Treee).

A faithful replica of Maha Bodhi temple in India where Buddha attained enlightenment. The seven significant chapters or markers of Buddha immediately after his enlightenment are there also. April sun was hot so try to go early in the morning to see the peaceful pagoda.
