The beach in gran Tarajal is small and black fine clean sand, the water is very veal and fresh and you have a nice promenade along with different restaurants, caffé, pizza and ice creams, even small mini markets very close, so you don’t have to...More

Playa De Gran Tarajal is probably our joint-favourite beach on Fuerteventura (with Grandes Playas in Corralejo) Although the sand is dark and gritty it's pleasant to walk on. You'll need to bring your own shelter as there are no loungers or parasols. The sea is...More

Gran Tarajal is a picturesque town, part industrial, part quaint, typical mediterranean in appearance. We parked up in a large car park for free and walked to the beach in about 10 minutes. The sand is very black so it gets very hot so you...More

Really nice place to spend a day. Two play parks, lots of restaurants and cafes on the beach front. The beach is grey sand but really soft and the sea is warm.

We loved Gran Tarajal and it's beautiful beach. You have to speak Spanish or at least try. Lovely to see the children running freely in the warm evenings and we even experienced a delightful birthday party

It was lovely to walk along the beach here. Gran Tarajal is calmer and quieter than other more touristy towns in Fuerteventura. We found that it wasn't as windy so it did feel a lot hotter here than the beach we normally go to.
