A walk around the wall will take you back to the medieval time. Many tower with its history. The wall is a long the beach, where in a small part inside the wall there is a beautiful botanical garden.

If you want to visit a very very special and old place in Sweden, really unic, go for some days to Gotland. You will never regret it, for sure.

One of the best city walls I have seen in Europe. It's big, and it's almost intact (wooden parts are missing, though). The only downside is, that there are actually not that many spots where you can walk on the wall itself...

On a visit here really must walk around the city and see the city wall. There is a small section where you can actually walk along the wall and get a great view

One of the main attractions in the walled city of Visby. During the medieval week you can visit one of the towers.
