a well kept park. :) Not quite the amount of different species of plants as in other botanic gardens we have visited before. But, it was free (voluntary fee) so not complaining. :)

The walk around the garden was lovely. It was early spring so not as much color from flowers but still a good amount of greenery to view. I would suggest it as a good picnic spot or an hour walk looking around.

This botanical garden is small, but so is the old city of Visby. It is, however, a beautiful, peaceful place--well suited to quiet contemplation. The surrounding old city only adds to its appeal. Additionally, it is a wonderful place to take your heart's love to...More

Even in April, early in the season it's really nice to take a walk and enjoy the first blossoms. Public garden. You cannot miss it. Walking through Visby you run into it anyway. For lovers of botanic gardens a must.

No big surprises from a botanical perspective, but this garden--which gives the impression of being not that old--is laid out beautifully and is a lovely spot to stroll or sit and read.

I try to visit all Botanical Gardens when I come across them and this one is a favourite, non-regarding time of year.

Still end of September and still a lot of beautiful flowers and plants. A place to relax and calm down.
