It is worth visiting Tapsa Temple and Maisan. Although there are many steps, it is still manageable, just go on your own pace. Great photos on a beautiful day.

To see all of pagodas, you will be hiking very challenging up and down the wooden staircases, but it’s worth every steps. To found out one person built the numerous pagodas without glue and to see how they have survived all these years, it was...More

After a nice hike, we visited Maisan Tapsa temple. Here Gapryong Lee, a retired scholar, built numerous pagodas - one stone at a time - over a period of decades. It is said that he built 108 towers over 30 years from 1885. Only 80...More

This area is known for its fried 더떡/DuDuk roots and 등갈비/DeungGalBi - amazing pork back ribs. And for the vegetarians, the mountain also offers a lot of flavorful 산나물/SanNaMul mountain plants, which is eaten mixed with rice. All of it was amazing and easily the...More

Good for those seeking a long hike. There is a shuttle bus to get there, or you can take a cab. It's also a great place to strike up conversation with locals or tourists, as the walk is way more enjoyable with company!
