Pretty amazing visit to the past. Our guide was very well informed and gave us all the information we needed to understand just how important this ancient site was in reflecting the grandeur of the classic Greek past.

Amazing site….the ruins were very interesting. A lot of hard work has gone into rebuilding. It was not a difficult walk through the ruins. The sloop up to the top is a gradual climb.

Delos was a beautiful sight but our tour guide had trouble with pacing, he spent an hour of the tour on three stops and then had to rush through the rest. It was a little disappointing to be rushed past the temples. Super cute cats.

The three hour visit to Delos was absolutely amazing Our guide Christi’s was so knowledgeable about all the ancient cultures that have inhabited the home of the gods. We learned so much! This was a pretty easy area to tour with some steps but plenty of flat areas. The boat ride from Mykonos to Delos was about 25 Minton comfortable ship

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Delos is an interesting half-day tour from Mykonos and offers a window into the lives of ancient Delians. Much of the site was excavated as is, meaning the buildings you see are pretty much what was preserved from the past, though some of the buildings are being reconstructed. A little hard to wrap your head around just how long these structures have withstood the sands of time. Best to visit on a guided tour, at least there is someone around to explain the significance of the site. Most tours depart from Mykonos and run for about 4 hours, which will give you an introduction to Delos, without much time to explore on your own. Morning tours start at 10 am. If you wish to have more time, to walk up Mount Cynthus for example, I would suggest coming here free-and-easy. Be sure to check with the boat operator the ferry timings to and back to Mykonos. The Delos Museum is currently not open, do note.

Initially kind of a bad experience due to the sheer number of people in the crowded streets. Tour group was approximately 50 people. Too big! Like herding cattle. Three cruise ships were in Mykonos and that makes for big groups. But a large cohort left and that made it a much smaller group. 12-15. That was ideal. Tour guide seemed tired and a couple of time had to tell people, ‘I just said that’ when they asked questions which she had already stated. Didn’t seem like she felt well.
The site is very cool from a cultural and archeological standpoint and a must do if you are interested in those things. The ruins and strucostill demonstrate the old city quite well and the tour walks you through what you are seeing.

Very enjoyable boat journey (about 30 minutes) to this wonderful island full of fantastic history. Tony (Antonio) our guide was the best as most informative guide I've ever met, made every minute entertaining and a great learning experience. This island is steeped in history and is a must do if you're in the area. Great value for money too.

Delos was an amazing experience! We really looked forward to see in the lion statues, but learned a lot about Delis, the ancient city, and all its markets. Our guide, Irene, was very knowledgeable and attentive to the group. We would definitely recommend Delis Tours and Irene as guides for visiting Delos.
We especially loved her care and concern for the cats there. Also, her warning to us about venomous vipers😜

An island with the ruins of a sprawling centuries old metropolis. Ideal for those interested in history. Take your own food and drink and appropriate clothing depending on the weather. There is only a museum shop for a retail outlet. Transport is by ferry from the old port of Mykonos.
