We were so lucky to start and finish our tour of Barolo at Cantina Gigi Rosso. Maurizio Rosso led a perfect tour of his winery, starting with an overview of Barolo and then digging into meticulous details, so that both the new and experienced in our group were entertained and engaged. He was so generous in his time and delighted us with personal stories and lifetime of experiences. We also stayed at his bnb, an equally delightful experience.

I can't say enough good things about our visit with Maurizo Rosso. A wonderful gentleman who really made our holiday special. His wines are excellent and we enjoyed our experience touring the winery and spending time with him. He is also a wonderful author of local books, a wealth of knowledge and happy to share information on the region. We were also lucky enough to meet the Dashing Gi Gi (Luigi Rosso). If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay I reccomend the villa the winery rents out. Stunning. Thank you Maurizo. Amazing.

What a wonderful place. The people and the wines were fabulous. Great tour by the family followed by a complete tasting of wine and vinegars. No surprise -- we bought lots of both. Highly recommend.

It was nice to visit in this family winery. The owner was telling all basic facts about the making of wine in this area and made us a little tour around. In the end we tasted 5 diffent wines including barolo, all only 10 euros. We felt very welcoming althought we really are not masters of wine. We had also great conversations. Also the prices in this cantina are not bad at all. Worth of visit!
