I came here by myself for a 21.10 kick-off on a Monday night and bought the ticket at the stadium an hour before the game (720 pesos) without issue. The stadium is a good one and the atmosphere is unreal- the fans do not stop singing and at times the stand genuinely was shaking. The area did not seem as bad as I expected and you can get very close to the stadium by public transport. I stayed until the end and took the no.17 bus from round the corner from the stadium up to Recoleta then changed bus. I was back in Palermo a little over an hour after the final whistle. There are so many people and police around after the final whistle that I think there’s minimal chance of you running into any trouble as long as you head straight to get the bus/train and know where you’re going. A fantastic evening out!

If you are a football - soccer fan, especially from outside South America there is nothing like experiencing the crowd passion and intensity as in Buenos Aries Argentina. Racing Club Stadium is old and decrepit but it does not diminish the experience. My driver said that the murder rate had declined since they banned alcohol !!

Estadio Presidente Juan Domingo Peron is located in Avellanada and the stadium of one of the 2 big teams of the town Racing Club. Their rival is Independiente and if you catch a game between these two teams, you most probably experience one of the most catching moments of your life. The country is famous for having La Bombonera and Estadio Monumental, however Racing stadium has all the elements to make it phenomenal also. Old style, ultras and Argentinian....definitely a worthwhile experience for football fans

We went to see Racing in the Libertadores against Bolivar and were treated to a fantastic match & accompanying atmosphere. El Cilindro is a beautiful, iconic stadium, guaranteeing a good view from wherever you are seated and the Racing Stones were in great voice as per usual. Absolutely no hassle getting in or out, although it was difficult to find colectivos going back to the Microcentro that weren't already packed, and everyone we met was very friendly. Definitely a recommended alternative to the typical tours to Boca and River.

I attended two games in BA. The Racing Club game was a good experience, but if you have a chance definitely go to San Lorenzo at Estadio Pedro Bidegain. This Peron stadium is aged and quite dirty. Lots of food vendors available. Police in riot gear were a worry, but scores of families with children under 10 years indicated there is no real security concern among the locals. I paid 400 pesos for upper level, bus 98 from BA goes right to the stadium, you can't see it from the bus but it is the second stop after crossing the river.

The home of Racing Club de Avellaneda, one of the 5 big teams in Argentinian football. The atmosphere is unparallelled and when in Buenos Aires a visit here is highly recommended!

Generalmente unas horas antes del partido abren las boleterias. A no ser que sea un Clásico o partido de Conmebol. Espero puedas comprender la respuesta. Saludos.
