The Crocodile Farm was never in our agenda for our visit to Kota Kinabalu but after a change in plans and having a few hours to burn, we decided not to venture too far from our resort (Shangrila Rasa Ria) and drove about 10 minutes to get to the farm. Our first impression was not the best, as the place... More

Was initially a bit sceptical of visiting this farm but turned out to be great. Try to catch the feeding times as the park guide does give quite a detailed briefing. Lots of crocodiles to visit here and see. Good job to park guide, Danielle for her patience and knowledge on crocodiles.

If you stay more than 3 days in KK, you must see this place. It is interesting to see these wild and dangerous giants closed. Workers these whole hen and these guys catch them on the air and swallow within seconds, just like movies. Guides are very friendly, they let us feed the crocodiles which was fun. There are also... I paid the entrance promotion fee for RM16. Original price is RM25. I think it's overpriced. Before exiting, a staff let us experience holding a baby crocodile. Please bring your own mosquito repellent if you don't want to get bitten (I visited around 3pm).

At MYR18 for adult and MYR8 for Malaysian is a bit over price for me. The farm is not exclusively for crocodiles, there was also a butterfly house, a walk-in aviary, rabbits, snake and multiple fish ponds. The actual crocodiles were seperated by gender, with the female crocodiles living in two huge exhibits where you can walk over. It is... More

As boring as it may seem from the road side. Crocodile farm house to at least more than 200 crocodiles plus different kinds of animal such as ostrich, otters, sheep and many more other animals. They have morning and afternoon crocodile shows for the visitors. And you can feed the animals as well with small amount of feed. Perfect for... More

A great place to spend a couple of hours. I was a little concerned about watching crocodiles being made to perform with an under 3 but from what we saw it was all perfectly humane and the crocodiles seemed happy. Do not forget that this is a crocodile "farm" so expect lots of croc skins/teeth etc for sale.

I phoned up the office and asked the best way to get there from KK and they said they had a shuttle bus with Chiang which was cheaper than the price of a taxi and picks you up at your hotel so we decided to use it. The farm is really great to see crocodiles close up and even baby... More

It was amazing going around this farm. Over a 1000 species of crocodiles and watching them come alive from being statues was incredible! There was also a butterfly farm there (not many to see) and a few birds. A monkey that swims in the baby crocodile pond which was a shocker, since he was still alive! Different reptiles and fish.... On our way from Kundusang to KK, we decided to check out the crocodile farm at Tuaran. As non-Malaysians we had to pay double the entree fee so we hoped it would be worth the money. The farm is not exclusively crocodiles, there was also a butterfly house (in front it had multiple boxes with names like 'spider', 'snail', 'grasshopper',... More
