Sukhumvid Road between Jontiem and Sattaip, a very nice place

Colorful mediocre shops selling this and that, nothing really to see. I would not imagine why you want to drive from Pattaya City to get there

So sad! This place looked amazing on the Internet and so we paid a visit. Twenty-five minutes in a taxi to get there and when we arrived the place was deserted! We were charged 50 baht each to enter and everything was closed! Only me and my partner there. Sad to see the place I imagine would have been very pretty and vibrant in its heyday.

Jul 2014 • Friends
On the 9th July 2014, it's my second day in Thailand and I'm suppose to visit Mimosa in the afternoon. At about 3pm, I and my friends manage to caught a "tuk tuk" to Mimosa which cost THB 20 per person from Mini Siam. Before the trip, my friend has checked online that the entrance fee to Mimosa is THB 150 per person. Upon arrival at Mimosa, we noticed there isn't indication of entrance fee. At least not one that we can understand since there is one board with Thai words on it and the number 150 at the side.

We approach one of the personal to get our tickets, there were four of us. The guy told us that the entrance is THB 600, which we assume is for four of us. but he said is THB 600 per person. We ask again to confirm isn't it suppose to be THB 150 per person and the guy answer in a rude manner that is for Thai citizen only. Feeling cheated, we suspect the "tuk tuk" driver may be involved as he was the one who take us to the guy while saying something in Thai. Although we have been there for more than 10 minutes and the argument with the guy from Mimosa goes on but the "tuk tuk" that brought us is still there at the road side.

As we feel something is not right, we walk over to a hotel nearby to check with them. The woman at the front desk told us that it's THB 150 per person, same for Thai citizen and foreign visitors. Knowing this, we decided not to go in for these people at Mimosa have been rude and act of lie for own benefits.

Please if you are reading this, I suggest to buy the tickets online in advance or get someone who know Thai language to go together.

When you come in Thailand this is not a must see. Actually its better to skip this and spend your money else where with more value.

We were coming from Pattaya going back to Sriracha and saw this place and decided to stop over since it looked good from the road. I was shocked to find out that they charged 600 bhat per person for tourist. My husband is an expat in Thailand so he show them his thai driver's license and told them he works here so they dropped rates from 600 to 150 bhat per person. When we entered there was 2 ladyboys in costumes calling to us "picture! Picture!". My advise if you do not want to shell out more money just ignore them. Unfortunately, I didnt so after taking pix they told us we have to pay. I think they sensed how shocked I was that they are asking money for a stupid picture that they told me any amount will do. So my husband gave them 100 bhat. Worst 100 bhat spent in Thailand ever.

After that, we sat down on one of the benches in an open space with stage waiting for the show to start. The show was just mediocre, no wow factor but there still some entertaining moments. We were hungry when the show finished so we opted to eat at their food court. Their food was not expensive around 80-200 bhat per meal but food was just average, what you get in any food court at the mall.

I am not impressed with the place coming from a country of malling culture where malls are beautifully and impressively built even with local and foreign acts performing for free to just entertain shoppers and definitely NO ENTRANCE FEE.

Probably the worst 150 baht I ever spent in Thailand. A tiny shopping mall, selling the usual Singha t shirts and copied raybans at highly inflated prices, thrown together in an faux European style (imagine London telephone boxes, a marmer roman statue and other nonsense). Lots of the shops were closed, you can have your picture taken with some third rate ladyboys (at 100 baht a pop) or a parrot (20 baht) and I literally walked the whole complex in about 10 minutes. Only interesting if you want to see busloads of Russians.

I personally did not recommend this place as it doesn't offer anything much compared to its entrance fee. It basically a shopping complex selling souvenir, clothing, etc.

This place is totally creepy. We went there with the understanding that it was an outdoor shopping complex. Yikes were we in for a terrible surprise. It is a dingy, weird place theme-park-esque place. The 600bhat entrance fee is ridiculous and this should have been our first clue to stay away. Why does a shopping area with restaurants require an entrance fee? We walked around, but things just got weirder - run down parks, shops that were either closed or just empty, a "marine monster" aquarium with a rat exhibit inside...it was a very surreal experience and not surreal in a good way. My family and I have been to Thailand many times before, and have seen many unusual things, but this was definitely a terrible place to visit.
