The Chateau comprises buildings from various centuries and the explanations are all in French. There are no furnishings but much of the original floors and panelled walls can be seen. The very plain chapel as some stained glass but little else. The highlight was the...More

We stopped in for lunch until the Chateau De Biron opened. We had hardly any French, but waitress was very helpful and offered a vegan version of one of the dishes on the menu. It was an enormous plate of vegetables, nuts and fruit that...More

We spend a week in the Lot Valley and this Chateau was a great half-day trip. It is wonderful that this relatively minor fortress has been maintained and is available to visit. We loved our visit to a part of France where we were constantly...More

This Chateau is beautiful! And is in an idilic setting. From the top of the Chateau the views stretch for miles and so for this, it is well worth a visit. Whilst there, there was a medieval weapons demonstration (much more friendly then it sounds!...More

This is a chateau with several different build phases, so full of interest. The later living quarters are stunning with red tile floors and huge fireplaces. At the moment, there is also a superb 20th century art exhibition e.g. Miro all beautifully displayed.
