What a fabulous beach! This was our first visit to North Cornwall and this beach had everything-an expanse of gorgeous sand, craggy rocks, streams and rock pools a coastal walk and a lovely National Trust cafe. We all loved it!

We went for 3 days to Sandymouth beach for body boarding, which we all enjoyed. Car park free to NT members. Short walk (10 mins; unless ovefflow parking in use- that is much further up) down to the beach. Cafe/ shop/ toilets on the way...More

A beautiful beach but you must make note of the tide times to enjoy the sand. It's VERY steep to/from the car park and in an uneven surface so not ideal for the less fit or able among us. Free parking for National Trust members...More
