Deserves to be better known, knowledgeable Rangers, well laid out grounds, animal enclosures well kept. Run by Department for national parks, doing great work for conservation. Great for children. Amazing to see platypus and other creatures of dusk and dawn in the Nocturnal House and the predatory birds in the Flight Show. Gorgeous pair of Cassowaries, they look like birds... More

This wildlife park is not the biggest but it is build up to be a jewel under such kind of parks. It is amazing how the rangers explain each and every detail of the animals in there. Even if it has not the biggest number of animals, it has its atmosphere. You may sit near to a wallabie or touch... More

We only endet up at this park because i did not feel like driving to the other Animal park near by.. Currimbean i think it is called. I am glad we went here. We have been at the other park several times. But never again. This park has an awesome layout, you can feel the planing that went into it,... More

Love to see the great walk through the bush and people loving and looking after wildlife, not as big as some though just a quick drive down the road. But the intention is pure and a loving vibe none the less. Great to visit with young kids.

David Fleays park doesn't get the kind of advertising that Australia Zoo or the other big ticket attractions do at the Gold Coast which is a shame as it's less than half the cost of those major parks but still provides a good half days entertainment. The parks a good size for young kids to have fun and walk around... More

Great place to see and learn a little about Australian Flora and Fauna without the hustle and bustle of big crowds. Beautiful natural setting, nice large enclosures for the animals. Easy to navigate, unrushed with friendly, knowledgable staff. Cafe is a little light on choices but overall a really nice day which our American guests thoroughly enjoyed.

For a start the park is not big and the collection is not huge, but what there is is set up beautifully and is extremely scenic. My kids really enjoyed the ranger/keeper talk and you can have interactions with them through the day. We easily killed 4 hours. The specimens are all native animals and good information regarding threatened species.... More

My kids recently participated in the Junior Rangers Program and loved it. For only $45 they spent the entire day (9:30am to 3pm) visiting various parts of the park and learning about the animals kept there. They went to the creatures of the night, birds of prey and crocodile show and behind the scenes of a number of exhibitions. They... More

My family became members of this park as its run by the Queensland Government and is well maintained. If you stay in the Tallebudgera Caravan Park, this park is 5 minutes away and is a must. The staff are fantastic and knowledgeable and are happy to explain about Australian wildlife. Its easy to find, there is plenty of free parking... More
