We discovered this park today on our way to the garden centre further up the road. It looked a beautiful place in the Spring sunlight. Very good to find dogs have to be on leads on one side of the river allowing the ducks and swans to rest in the grass untroubled. The children's play area looked in good condition... More

3 of us took my dog for a walk in Kearnsey Abbey Gardens. This is one of the most restful places to visit in east kent. Our dog bad to remain on the lead while we were on tbe first side of the lake. We then crossed the bridge, went through the gate a she came off the lead. Plenty... More

Excellent location for a walk, picnic or playing with the kids. Play area is nice and clean. Cafe offers good selection of hot food plus ice creams.

Great place for families pleasant surroundings , nice café ideal place for a picnic. Can also take your dogs and it has a barbecue facility.

Visited here last weekend on a sunny but chilly Saturday. Was obviously busy with dog walkers and families. You can take two paths at Kearsney; to the left past the pond and play area towards a woodland walk or go right and navigate the large hill which has decent views. This is a lovely gardens and has lots to explore. The cafe is handy for ice cream, but we normally bring a picnic to eat outside. Oh Kearsney Abbey Gardens- what wonderful memories you have made for so many! Beautifully maintained gardens with ancient trees bulbs in abundance in spring, water falls and woodland, grass for ball games or just to lay and relax on .
