Popped in to visit the garden centre and decided to try out the rearranged eating area. Much more spacious now and nice sofa area too, as well as the usual tables and chairs. We simply had tea and cakes, both being fresh and delicious, although...More

Used to be favourite local cafe, cake portions now a joke, £2.95 for sliver of cake. It used to be 10x better, now really disappointed

Had tea and bacon sandwiches with two friends this morning. Nice clean surroundings,a proper pot of tea and good quality food with no frills. Just what we wanted. Overall good value and experience. Will be back again. Thanks

Went back to this center as we used to enjoy the shopping and browsing but sad to say prices have skyrocketed now it’s part of a chain and not nearly as good. Real shame

Nice nursery to look round and always appreciated as a coffee stop as they usually have a selection of gluten free cakes which are fresh and tasty (ie, more than one sad oversweetened brownie in a plastic wrap, which is the usual fare.) With being...More

Pearl E
Hello to the Manager and Staff in your Restaurant This is just to say that on Friday of this week we had a drive out from the Hope Valley and visited you Garden Centre and Restaurant. We were impressed with the on-going work to enlarge the site. Myself and my husband decided to have lunch while we were there and had a lovely cooked lunch of Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce, new potatoes, and vegetables. Afterwards we finished looking around your Garden Centre and then came straight home. Around three hours later both my husband and I got food poisoning. We very both quite ill for around an hour with diarrhea, (the runs), and stomach ache. As this was the only meal we had had that day it points to your lunch. We can only think it was the Hollandaise Sauce. We are just notifying you of this in case anyone else tells you the same. It will not put us off lunching with you again in the near future. We would appreciate you coments. Pearl and Barry Edwards.
