The Lakeside Lodge is a wonderful retreat tucked away near Matlock. Although small it has everything you need. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and feels very safe and secure for a single traveller. Really comfortable bed and the whole place is clean and fresh. Lovely views and is really peaceful. Wish I could have stayed longer

Another great weekend staying at Longacre fishery. We absolutely love this place, and stayed in Andrew and Kathy's new first class stylish apartment this time "Lakeview Lodge." The views are stunning looking out the windows across the lake and garden area. Longacre is in an ideal place for exploring the Derbyshire countryside and local attractions. Andrew and Kathy have great... More

We were looked after with such a high level of service all day, nothing was too much trouble, we had tea and coffee made for us by the lake and... More

We had a wonderful stay over the Valentines weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and the cottage was very comfy. I had a great time lounging about while hubby went fishing and had a very exciting catch. The perfect combination! We would highly recommend a stay.
