Great views but don't go there if you have a fear of heights. Great Cantine (des Rives) at the end of the galeries for some drinks and a bite to eat.

This is a gallery that has been cut into the cliff on a natural strata. We went with friends , one of whom was very scared of heights but in fact had no problem with the walk. Nice restaurant for a beer at the end...More

Finding the start is not the easiest! Signposts are small and brown. No entry fee. Parts of it can be steep and stepping over stones and roots could be difficult for some. The views over Champery and the Val d'Illiez are stunning.

Breathtaking views of the beautiful village and the surrounding mountains. Close enough of the railway station to be done without your own car.

Breathtaking views of the village below; this hike brings you to a very good restaurant at the top. You'll even get to see the biggest slugs along your way.

It is a 30 min walk, 1.5 km each direction (you can go the same route, as we did, or retun on the road). It is an easy walk except the 50 last meter... A little more effort... Up to the restaurant. We had a...More

From reviews we weren't sure if the hike was 2 or 4 hours. From Champery, round-trip, it took us about 2 hours and that included a long picnic lunch break. The view was beautiful. My daughter and I are anxious at heights and we had...More

From Champery village centre we walked out to the start of the walk and up to the Galeries. We walked past the Acrobranche onto the rock face and then walked along the Galeries. While the walk is on the edge of a shear cliff, there...More
