A fascinating and well presented exhibition using different media. Thoroughly enjoyable and informative for young or old. I could not imagine a better way to present the material to a broad spectrum of visitors

Been here a few times, they have a lot of interesting exhibitions on and it's not too expensive. What they have put on tends to be child friendly and interactive. So far we've done Playmobil, Titanic, Richard the Lionheart, Photo exhibition of Chancellor Kohl entertaining...More

Whilst at Speyer we visited the Historical Museum Many very old artifacts on display and friendly helpful staff on hand Spent an interesting time wandering around and would like to revisit Close to the Cathedral

We visited the Richard Lionheart exhibit with our eyes wide open. Clearly, there are not many artifacts that survived until today. Those that did, have significant intrinsic value, so there is not much for the hands-on exhibit visitors. What the exhibit does well is displaying...More

All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative. Interesting displays. For me the Roman collection was exceptional.

Very beautiful museum with interesting exposition. Really good for children's and also for parents. Nice place near to the river and very good to walk on the park.

and we did not find much of interest in the permanent exhibits apart from the section on the cathedral/treasury. So it was not really worth the 7€ entrance charge. Most of the permanent exhibits only had labels in German and many (stone age, Roman, etc)...More
