The lady who runs the place was lovely. She spoke very little English, but with the help of Google Translate (conversation mode) we had a really good time. Everything is in German (GT in Photo / Text Recognition mode). It's only 3 euro per person...More

There are so many german fairytales. The most popular but also some rare stories an built in little rooms. An explanation of the story is in german and in english in each room

This may be good for young children only. Cute, but don't go out of your way. The town square is much much better. The town overall is awesome.

It is part of the maerchenstrasse and is located in the historic centre. The museum is well decorated and the kids just loved it.

If you're traveling through the area, chances are you won't be able to hit every town on a Saturday or Sunday....or during peak daytime hours. It's just not possible. This museum is a hobby of someone's we think, and it's really only open when that...More

I liked Rapunzel's plaits hanging down from a bedroom window! We did not go in so I cannot say much more about this. It wasn't open for a visit.

I don't even know what prompt us to visit this because you can't even get to it on the internet and the website is closed. It is just off the town square for Alsfeld (a very enchanting town). It is both amateur-ly and comic-ly done....More
