For an American, I found this quite interesting. Was able to walk around the outer grounds but was not able to inside at the time I was there. Since then I have seen many castles in Europe but this was the first.

Given how decimated this building was during bombings of the 2nd world war it has been restored remarkably well with the exterior maintained and the interior revamped to make it more user friendly as a museum. The cork displays are amazing, well worth a look....More

Was a large group of colleagues and dinner was great. I had a local fish .. like a trout was very well prepared and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was very good.

Beautiful brick palace. Next to the River. Great district for restaurants and cute shops. Unfortunately closed when we arrived. Walked around the inner courtyard where picnic tables were set up for outdoor events. Hope to return

Unfortunately we couldn't go inside because it was too late. But we could check the view from the Café and we could walk around the castle, it's beautiful.

There is a museum attached to the castle grounds. It has a lot of collections of different kinds. But very little explanations in English and hence found it difficult top appreciate. Very nice replicas of the colosseum and many roman and Italian buildings. Entrance fee...More

The visit was very nice, all very impressive, but we wish it had more things in English than only in German!

This is a perfect lunchtime venue. The food is good but not perfect. I have been there a few times and eating outside is really good when the weather is fine.
