After visiting the sacred site of construction of temple of Lord Rama, we went to this place. Everyone who visits is offered sumptuous meal as a prasad free everyday from 11.30am to 3pm. A token donation is appreciated. Managed very efficiently, clean and tidy, there are many shrines within the main building. We could also visit a rare temple dedicated to Child Rama, a newly built few years ago in the first floor. There is enough parking inside. A panoramic view from the top is unmissable.

How a place that is supposed to have been built 2000 years back can still exist. I feel that any place can be given that name, I do not know whether Sita ki Rasoi still exists or not but what our guide told us was photographed. Seeing its tiled structure and other adjoining rooms, I think that it has been reconstructed on the original site There is also a temple having several beautifully dressed idols of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshaman in this complex. Looking at the history of Ayodhya, where original temple of Lord Rama was demolished and a mosque was constructed about 500 years back, it is difficult to believe that old structure of Sita Ki Rasoi would still exist. As it is a faith of millions of Hindus, we would also believe.

This is close to the Janma Bhoomi and may not remain in the present form when the new temple comes up. A must visit, if you are keen to view the site as it exists now.

Nothing too great , a temple with the Ram Sita idols which is supposed to be installed in the actual temple once it's built.

Not too off track so yeah drop by if you are there. As for the actual Rasoi, who knows ....

This one is in Ayodhya, but while tracing the route of Ram as he went to Srilanka we have seen many such places where Sita cooked.
This is no different from them and worth a visit just because you are there

When in Ayodhya you should be aware of crooks who will bring you here on one pretext or the other and then put you before a group of crooks to extract money, for which they get commission.

As per locals and guides this is the place where Mata Sita cooked food for her family for the first time after her marriage to God Ram. This is the must visit for first timers.
