The town hall and market square are centrally located, surrounded by shops, cafes and bars. Hold markets during the week and events such as the chocolate festival in December. Look fantastic during the day or light up at night.

Well worth a visit when you are in Tübingen, in order to savor the flavor of what Germany once was. Beautiful square, lovely old (restored) buildings, but they were not destroyed during the war.

This review is more about the town in general. It's a very picturesque town and feels like it's very relaxed. Pretty riverside, old town, castle and market place. Definitely worth a few hours wandering around.

Very old sqaure. Astrnomical clock from 16 century. Eateries and St. George in the middle slaying the dragon. Plenty of places to sit for free or at cafes to ppl watch. A must see for your walking tour through Tubingen.

Every Markplatz has its own beauty and that's true for this lovely town, as well. Be sure to meander down the winding side streets for hidden treasures, too. And don't miss the view from the bridge over the river. Incredible.

Charming attractive square dominated by the recently restored town hall. Square filled with cafes and restaurants. Can't comment on their quality or price. When we were there a band was playing outside the town hall.

A very beautiful square, more than Stuttgart. Old architecture, many sweet little shops and not to crowded.
