This museum, although free entry, obviously caters for English speaking visitors. Most exhibits have a placard in English "Do not touch" Sadly this is as far as the English goes-everthing is only labelled in German-making it impossible to understand unless you speak German well.

This really takes you to the heart of the local history and culture, obviously particularly focusing on the salt industry.

I don't know how people with mobility issues would get around because this museum took up several levels. It was fascinating, covering many parts of history, from geological exhibits to world war items. The theatre display was amazing.
