This church has it all: a crypt with bobes, a tower that you can climb, creepy statues of skeletons and cherubs alije, intricate woodwork, stained glass, and beautiful paintings. It's a real typical, gorgeous German church.

Interesting Church and for the views it was well worth the effort of climbing to the top. Lot of history in the Church.

Had a chance to see the player rehearse. Although we were not allowed to watch the play, the audience was full with large crowds assembling prior.

We attended a concert. The acoustics were good, and the magnificent architecture enhanced the enjoyment of the performance. There's a lot of history here.

A curious mix of very ornate and yet plain in some areas. Certainly worth a visit and to spend some quiet time reflecting.

If you're in the area, this one is a must-see. Beautiful church at the top of the hill in the downtown. Really lovely architecture and history with great performances on the steps at night.

I admit to an interest: all my family members on my maternal great grand mother's side were "hatched, matched and despatched" in St Michael's from the late 15th century until the turn of the 20th century. But personal interest aside, this is a fascinating and...More
