Being Australian this beach was a complete novelty to us. The wind, the kite surfers, the pavilions built on precarious stilts over the water. The kids loved jumping off the sand do units and the dog loved running. Wonderful.

Absolutely beautiful place. The largest beach I’ve ever seen, we walked around for nearly 2 hours without realising it. Perfect to spend a day there, but very windy in general so dress up appropriately.
