When I first saw this church, I was really impressed. Its a small church as typical of the other Asamkirche that I have visited. The ceiling fresco art was done by the Asam brothers which were the most important Baroque artist in Europe. It's amazing to see it moving as you walk further. There is so much to learn from... This church is worth a guide. The fresco on the ceiling is quite interesting. Also add the story around the artefacts they have and there value is as also interesting.

The staff at the tourist information Center in Munich recommended and they were so right. The inside is peaceful and encourages you to sit in the pews and reflect on what is important. Turning to leave you will see a magnificent pipe organ above a beautiful crucifix.

When visiting Ingolstadt this church is a must, the ceiling painting is memorising ,can't quite describe it, it must be seen.

Stunning little church, with a very detailed ceiling and oil paintings of the saints along the walls. Well worth seeing, certainly made me stop and think about the talent of the artists.

It is easy to find, not far from the pedestrian zone. The Assam brothers have decorated other churches in Germany but the frescos here were amazing. We asked the attendant for an explanation and were rewarded with lots of information. Make sure you have a guide or a guide book with you. As you move up and down the aisle,... More

The interior is done by the Asam-brothers who made their own church in Munich. If you've seen the one in Munich then this one is a much more subtle version although still a fairly elaborately decorated church. Be ready to pay €3/adult to enter the church (which I will say I find maybe somewhat of a stretch).

I visited the Maria de Victoria church back in May of 2010. I was here abroad doing a transcultural nursing class, and my instructor recommended it for the brilliant painting on the ceiling. the Elegance of the church interior aside, the painting I enjoyed because it really gave one a view on to the painter, and ignorance about a world...
