Historic site along river Rhine

There is a little (artificial) harbor from 1487 with the crane. This shows how important transportation on river Rhine was already that time. pore

We thought the riverside area vastly improved and the gardens and sculptures are fabulous. I could spend days exploring here. Bravo to the town for a wonderful addition to your attractions.

The crane can be visited inside as part of a special tour (should be reserved in advance). You can then experience the work of the crane handlers in former times, turning the big wheels.
