Get the ferry on the edge of town about a fiveteen minute walk along the promanade. It takes about the same time to cross the Rhine. Its ferry service is on going through out the day. And its cheap. worth the money and crossing

We firstly went from Bingen to Rudesheim on one of their ferries. The price was around €7 for 3 people and the ferry was quick and reliable. As we liked our journey we went on a castle cruise which was 1hr 30m for €30 for...More

We took a family of 5 up and down the Rhine River and were able to make several stops for lunch/castle tours/etc. The boats have shades on top (which is good because it was 91 F the day we did our cruise) and you can...More

During our recent family vacation this summer we took a boat trip up the middle Rhine, Germany's major river, between St. Goarshausen and Rüdesheim. We did Tour L2 which takes you from Rudesheim to St Goar and back. This is a great way to see the Rhine with lots of castles and a running commentary about what you are looking at.
