At Friedrichshafen airport. Modern building, restaurant. indoor and outdoor exhibits. Staff very helpful and inn my case went out of their way to help me in English. Tells story of aircraft designer Claude Dornier.

Very well presented museum, external display of planes and interior displayed history of the company along with satellite technology of the modern age. Sensitively handles the WW2 era. An easy walk from the airport. Note the airport weren't able to store luggage but this museum...More

All the achievements by Dornier, a much known name in the aircraft and component industry. You get to look inside some planes and see how cramped and basic it was for travellers. From early aircraft to satellite systems. Lots to see
