This place was wonderful and truly enjoyed it. We saw animals well taken care of and their spaces seem for the most part sufficient. This is the only preservation park in the Aosta Valley and it is a must see when in the area especially...More

I'm not particularly fond of caged animal venues but at least some of them have some open space to roam. Take the kids to see a stambecco walk past you on the same trail. I felt sorry for the wild boars in their enclosure because...More

I visited the Parc Animalier d'Introd today. It has quite a range of alpine animals and some (such as badgers and squirrels) that are not particularly alpine. Although it's nicely laid out and provides many people with an opportunity to observe the animals at close...More

This is a nice place in a little village, located close to Aosta. There is a lot of walking up and down small path so not stroller or wheelchair friendly!! But it's worth a little stop. You can walk through the cages/fences and get very...More

I have been twice in the parc, once in 2009 and then in May 2015. The parc is small but you can see the animal from very close. The parc is super clean and clam. The people there are friendly and they are currently expanding...More

Cute idea and animals are easy to see and enjoy. Though quite small it is still an enjoyable experience. Only problem is that it is extremely hard to walk around with a pushchair. I think they can improve the pathways.

Small unassuming alpine zoo on a steep hillside but lots of places to stop and watch the lovely view. Took about an hour to wander slowly around but if you had children with you there is a play area and picnic area. The site is...More

If you want to see Marmots and the local animals then this is a good trip, it is not very extensive and so can be done in half a day and its one children would enjoy.

A great way to spend a few hours in close proximity of deer, wild boars, marmots, chamois and many other animals. The environment is well maintained with lots of space for the animals. Follow the guy feeding them for the best contact!

We kept hiking in the Gran Paradiso area for about 4 days, hoping to see marmots, but I guess we had to climb higher to get to see them. Given that we had young kids with us that was a challenge. The Introd Park offered...More
