- Connector182327521541 contributionFar beyond my expectations! Not simply a yoga center but a place to immerse yourself into Indian culture and philosophyI had a great experience at Swasti Yoga Center. It is a family-run business where you can choose from different yoga programs certified by India's Ministry of AYUSH. Dr Vikas Chothe and his wife Dr Shwetambari Chothe are both very knowledgeable and professional teachers, as well as very generous and warm-hearted people. They made me feel at home since day 1. I was there to complete the Level 1 Yoga Protocol Instructor course, which I found deeply interesting and helpful in providing me with a lot of concepts and tools to take my practice to the next level and hopefully help other people join this wonderful and amazing path of yoga. My personal experience was simply just great! I was provided with a comfortable clean room, healthy nourishing meals and a safe quiet space for my practice. Everyday we had a practical and theory session in the morning, whereas in the afternoon I mostly had free time to do self-study, spend time with the family or engage in cultural activities. Not only did I learn a lot about yoga, but I also had the chance to immerse myself into Indian culture by visiting temples, local schools, going to festivals and fairs and do some sightseeing in Pune. Overall It was a very enriching stay! I would definitely recommend Swasti Yoga Center to all those interested in becoming better, more conscious individuals and willing to spread the wisdom of yoga across the globe.Visited January 2024Travelled soloWritten 28 January 2024

- Zair M1 contributionSwasti Yoga Teacher Training 1I had a beautiful stay at Swasti yoga center where I was taken in by a loving family and given extensive lesson on the history and tradition of yoga. I was able to fully immerse into the culture through temple visits, community outreach events, college tours and fun retreats while also connecting with the family during birthday celebrations, special trips and everyday life. We shared many laughs, meals and memories together. I wouldn't trade this experience for the world, and would highly recommend to anyone with an open and curious heart.Visited May 2024Travelled soloWritten 15 June 2024

I have been doing the 2-weeks foundations yoga course with Dr. Vikas and have learned a lot about yoga practice and philosophy. We were a small group so the lessons were costumized to our needs.
Excursions in and around Pune, a food tour about Indian cuisine and group events were also part of the Programm. And the food was absolutely delicious 🤤
I had a great time with Swasti Yoga Center and felt like a part of the family. I can highly recommend this Yoga Center if you would like to deep dive into yoga in a warm-hearted and familiar athmosphere.

I thought yoga was just stretching, but I was wrong.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thought this. Yoga is SO much more than just stretching!
I mean, sure, you do a lot of stretching in yoga, but you also do a lot of strengthening, balancing, and breathing exercises. Along with this, what I was taught was that it is also about loving life and connecting the many parts of it together...
It's a really great workout, and it's so much fun! I'm not a new when it comes to yoga, but I'm always learning new things in every class. If you're thinking about giving yoga a try, you are in good hands with Vikas and Shwetambari, I definitely recommend it!

In the past three weeks, I took part in the Protocol Instructor Course at Swasti Yoga Center, and I had a wonderful and eye-opening experience. During my stay I got to fully understand the meaning and importance behind the centenary tradition of Yoga, which unlike what I thought before my arrival it is not simply a physical practice but instead a tool to control our mind and to reach balance and calmness.
Every day, I had the chance to take part in multiple classes, both practical and theoretical, held by experienced and knowledgeable teachers. I learned in depth about the true meaning of yoga, yoga texts, various practices and their benefits, the human body and the appliace of yoga into everyday life.
Other than this, I had the chance to fully immerse into the Indian culture and to live like a local. I learned enormously about new costumes, traditions, values and mindsets, and I felt in love with Indian cuisine.
Since day one, I was welcomed with open harms and treated like a family member by the Chote family, who truly made my stay unforgettable. Together, we did many activities, among which trips to temples, museums and to nearby cities, we visited a school, where I had the chance to speak about my home country, Italy and we went to an Ayurveda college where we visited the anatomy, physiology and ayurvedic medicine departments. Thanks to these visits, I had the chance to observe with my own eyes how yoga is an integral part of indian society and to apply all the teachings I learned from my everyday classes.
I am extremely grateful to every person I have met for having taught me a life lesson that I will forever carry with me. I really feel like, despite my short stay, I have grown up enormously, became a better version of myself and found some role models that will forever inspire me.
Thanks a lot again to every member of the Chote family, the staff at the yoga center, and the other students for having taught me so much. I really hope to be able to apply everything I have learned from you and to share the beautiful lessons learned to my family and friends.

Amazing place where everyone is treated like family and you instantly feel welcomed. Full and part time TTC available, where you get more than just a teaching certificate: you take an exam with the Quality Council of India to be a certified yoga professional by the Indian government (Ministry of Ayush). The course teaches all aspects and forms of yoga, including its origin, Vedic knowledge, and how it impacts the physical body/health benefits. If you are truly seeking the deep knowledge/philosophy/spirituality of yoga and want more than a simple teaching certificate, this is the place!

My experience at Swasti Yoga Center was a challenging and beautiful one: I did a yoga foundation course of 14 days and eventually I didn't want to leave that place as these beautiful people made me feel at home since the first day, the food was amazing and I enjoyed every moment that I had with the family:I was part of it!!
About the course I have to say that it requires a lot of discipline but I had many rewards and I have learned so much knowledge from Vikas, and I can' t be grateful enough for the time spent there.
In the future I will probably complete my first yoga instructor course here, I can' t wait to come back again.
See you soon
Thank you 🙏🙏

Completed the kids yoga training. It was an amzing journey, very informative and challenging.
I consider myself very lucky to come across this wonderful center, the Swasti Yoga Center in India. I thought I will only be learning about Asanas and Breathing techniques, at my surprise, I was able to learn more about myself, self discovery and self discipline and It was really inspiring for me to learn yoga philosophy and deepen my knowledge.
Such a wonderful journey, and a great family. The place of love and unity. I would like to thank Dr. Vikas Chothe for his help, support and hard work.
Namaste.

I was searching for the best places to do my yoga TTC and get Government of India certification, when i discovered Swasti Yoga. I really am surprised to know the depth of courses and the level of teaching at Swasti Yoga. The teachers Dr. Vikas and Dr. Shweta are very knowledgable and others like Radha, Rama, Kalyani are very cooperative too. Every week we also had great yoga activities like Pranayama, Shatkriya retreat along with nature s, visits to historical places and temples teaching the philosophical concepts of yoga. In short i would recommend this to all international students who wish to advance their yoga practice and take their career to a new level with Govt of India certification. Good value for money too.
Thank you Dr. Vikas n Swasti Yoga!
