The park is good value and not overpriced. There is a very good Tasmanian Devil display. There is a good range of Australian and international animals, birds, fish and reptiles. The devil feeding was particularly interesting. Feed can be purchased to feed some of the animals. This is a great place to spend a few hours. The drive to the... More

My granddaughter loves her visits to Wings. This time we paid for a one on one with the baby wombat, she really enjoyed it. Great place to walk around for a couple of hours

The family that owns and operates this wildlife park does a wonderful job of making tourists feel as if they are welcomed guests in their park. The animals are well cared for and access to them is easy. Staff is located throughout the park to answer your questions and encourage your interaction with the animals if applicable. I highly recommend... More

Really enjoyed feeding the roos and wallabies. 3 bags were not enough. Good to see a few devils, but the wombats hid from us. Not much into birds but that hada good selection. A few too many cages and bars for my liking, but still not a bad park.

So we finally decide to go and see if it's worth the money ($23 adult, $12 kids) Turns out it was! We came early enough to see the feedings to have a picnic and enjoy ourselves. The little sprinkle of rain couldn't dampen the spirits. Fun to see a lot of the animals awake you normally see sleeping in other... More

What a marvelous surprise! We were on a cruise ship and had wondered what we would do in Burnie. When the shuttle brought us to the Maker's workshop (basically a tourist welcome center), we were sold on the intimate encounters promised by Wings Wildlife Park--and they totally exceeded our expectations! We had to wait a while as they tried to... More

We found this place, which is a bit out of the way on one of our loopy travels around the back country. What a delightful spot. Friendly staff, natural settings for the animals and even baby Wombats and Tassie Devil. Wish we had more time as this is a very good example of a nature reserve.

Kids enjoyed feeding the goats and wallabies. Watching the devil siblings being fed was a great experience. The setting here is great and they do rehabilitate injured wildlife.

The staff is all so friendly and the guides are extremely knowledgeable. We decided to upgrade to the personalized tour and we were very happy that we did. Small tour group, the opportunity to touch and feed animals, and be able to ask any questions that came up made it very special! A highlight of our time in Australia!
