About

Only allowed to try 3 wines which was a real shame as the wine is excellent. Spent over €300 and would have spent more if given the opportunity. The staff were rather unfriendly and not welcoming insisting a limit on tasting. Other chateaux in the region are much more friendly, approachable and professional (something Minuty could learn from).

Myself and my parents visited about 4pm on Wednesday afternoon to enquire about a tour and we tried 3 glasses of rosé each for free that day. We then booked for the Monday to do a wine tour and tasting. It cost €30 each and it included an in depth tour and our guide answered all our inquisitive questions to great depth. We then tasted 6 wines with decent measures and we were able to compare each the rosé, white and red. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend as we had a great two hours there!

Not a great experience. Only 3 samples per customer which made it difficult to try all the wines. This was also served warm so it was not the most pleasant sample experience.
Not much of a vineyard experience it’s more of a shop. We were hoping to find out more about the vineyard and how the wine was made.
I ended up leaving with no wine. The wine is poor quality and has a strong taste of chemicals.
Luckily we found another vineyard on the way back as we were very disappointed with the minuty experience.

We were greeted by the rudest most unpleasant blonde woman who made comments to the french family opposite about us being English. Clearly not nice ones as I said, that I speak and understand French and live next door. She went bright red but did not apologise. We had bought a case of their white and asked to try the red. She said we were only allowed 3 sip of wine and we had reached our limit. I said I was buying for a large party/wedding. She could not have cared less. I pointed out that we needed a sip of each of their 3 reds so that we could chose. She said 'Non'. So we left. Rude. Unpleasant. Really do not bother. Go next door to Rouilleres on the road to Ramatuelle where you will be greeted with a big smile and lots of help choosing what you want. Truly dreadful experience.

I ordered some M online to ventealapropriete.com
Thought it could be picked up from the Chateau, but in fact was going to be picked up from the website logistical center in...Macon! (400 miles away)
the lady at Minuty reception, although I didn't buy directly from her, called them, rearranged the delivery to my house in Grimaud (5 miles from Minuty).
her name is Emilie and she has been sensational.
credit to her!

The winery is sadly staffed by an uninterested team. Wine tours were on offered but we were told only for « professionals’, the girl behind the counter more interested in her phone than serving us. We tried 3 wine, Rose and White , lovely. We wanted to buy 3 dozen and try a 4th but told flatly NO - then she returned to her phone and sales receipts. Albeit we and another family were the only ones there, apart from the few doing a tour.
A sad experience and one not recommended at all. Buy the wine from 3rd party

Most unfriendly welcome in the region. Too much trouble to sell wine? The wine is good but this place is not worth the visit

Having holidayed in France most summers now for over a decade. Finally, a winery experience that focuses on the customer experience, well in this region at least. The building is purpose made, and designed exactly around the process that they want you to enjoy. Every step, from tasting, buying and collecting your purchase has been carefully thought through and is delivered professionally and consistently.
Staff are employed for their up-beat, communicative personalities, and the setting is inspiring at the least.
The wines? Well of course they are good, but they are in most places. The price range is good, so you are guaranteed to leave with at least something. Where this winery stands out is in providing the customer experience. This extends to having high quality reasonably priced branded merchandise, such as wine coolers, wine glasses etc which make fabulous gifts.
We visit at least 2 or 3 times during our short stay in the area each summer.
Highly recommended.

Minuty is the best rose vine that we have ever tested worldwide!
Every time we come to Cote d’Azur we rush to that domain for another couple of bottles!)

We had the loveliest bottle of wine in a restaurant from Château Minuty so thought we would go for a tasting. It was a lovely experience and we tasted 6 wines then purchased 8 bottles, not bad going. I love this wine and I love Château Minuty.

Are dogs allowed for the wine tasting?
Les chiens sont-ils bienvenus?

I am not sure but maybe you can leave the dog outside the door. There's enough space. 😀

Can we bring 3 children? Ages 6, 10 and 12? How much? Soula x
Written 28 August 2018
We have three children. Would that make wine tasting complicated? They may get bored or mischievous. What do you think?
Written 27 August 2018
Wine tasting does not take long, however if it takes longer the place does not provide for running and playing. Should your children get bored perhaps you can split and while one will continue tasting the other will take children for a walk in the vineyard.
