a soothing experience although different members of staff gave us conflicting times when they open and as a result we did not get on the first boat despite arriving 15 minutes after the advertised opening time ie 9am.

I took the boat trip around this collection of allotments, reachable only by flat-bottomed boat. It was utterly enchanting. Commentary totally in French, and a bit tricky to follow, but I just let it all sink in, and relaxed.
