This is more than a museum, it’s like a virtual reality experience of being in different areas of French ocean liners. And you don’t just go through the first class sections, but see how the people In second and third class travelled as well. From...More

Good for a quick visit, does not take to long to tour the submarine but you get good information throughout. Not the easiest location to get to. Staff were nice and friendly, speaking a variety of languages. Audio tour offered via headset, submarine exhibition inside...More

Submarine visits was so popular that we came back as soon as it opened one morning to make sure we got in. When we first went we were told we'd probably be queuing for at least an hour before getting on, not the best idea...More

I went over half a century without setting foot in a submarine and then have been in two in two months. The previous was at Chatham dockyard in Kent, England and that was a guided tour. This is a self-guided tour with an audio guide...More

Visitied this place and it is facinating to see how people lived on the submarine for months on end. There is an audio guide that everyone gets and you need it really to understand what is going on. The space inside is quite cramped and...More

This process could easily be re-engineered to make the experience more comfortable and enjoyable. The submarine itself was very interesting and the audioguide was very informative. The French submarine service is a fairly uneventful story. A retired Nazi U boat would be a more fitting...More

I have to admit, I was always interested, but as a female, this floats my boat less than my partner (excuse the pun) who is very interested in the history of u-boats. So on out tour around France, this was a stop we had to...More
