We really enjoyed our trip to the tunnels. We visited late on a Friday in November and so didn't need to book and our group of four were the only ones doing the tour. It lasts about an hour and the tour guide and exhibits give you a real insight into how the tunnels were made and used during the... More

Very well organised with a helpful guide with good English though the audio gave all the info which was then largely inexplicably repeated by the guide. Basically the deal is you go down to the old limestone caves in a lift and then do a tour stopping every few minutes to watch a short video. There must have 15-20 videos... More

A good tour and full of information on Arras and its part in the war. Much more informative than the Boves so would recommend the wellington tunnels as a must in Arras. Multi languages available via headsets abd the tour guides also are great at translating to cater for everyone. Tours seem to be every hour but may need to... More

Guides were very good, multi lingual and knew the history of the quarry. Very informative and felt it was strange to see the tunnels and wall markings which were made by people 100 years ago, who were probably going to their death

Fascinating story of building extensive tunnels since Arras was on the battle front. Well-organised with English commentary and a guide speaking both English and French. We saw the 15 minutes' film, not 5 as claimed in another review, in advance and that gave us a useful introduction to the extensive tour - some 40 minutes. Tour groups restricted in numbers... More

Traveling as two couples to visit our great uncles grave nearby it was touching to stumble across this museum which give us an unforgettable experience and insight into those troubled times.

An excellent guided tour in this country interesting sub terrainian environment. The staff were friendly, helpful, welcoming and informative. The guide spoke excellent English and she had a great sense of humour. I get a bit claustrophobic so I had some reservations about going down, but it was well illuminated and quite spacious underground. Overall, this exceeded my expectations

I didn't know. Amazing to walk where so many soldiers walked and waited. Powerful. The quote projected above the exit is powerful.
