Totally unlike any other World War I battlefield tour (and I've been on a few), the Wellington Tunnels draw you in, forcing each visitor to confront the horrific nature of a war that laid waste to so many millions of young lives, on either side...More

I have visited Arras on a number of occasions with four friends and somehow we have managed to miss it 😂 It is just before a supermarket and the sign is quite easily missed when concentrating on the road signs. Booking is required unless you...More

Not difficult to find but it could be better signposted as this is an important part of the Arras offensive. Opens about 10.30am and after buying tickets for the tour took a walk around the small exhibition centre (which is a bit haphazard) and looked...More

The Wellington Tunnels Memorial is an excellent insight into the history of the battles of Arras. If I had to mark them down at all it would be in my opinion for not including more about the New Zealand efforts in the construction of the...More

Must see experience. Very moving, brings home the harshness of what those brave men had to endure. A must see.

The tunnels were great to visit - showing us the amazing bravery of the soldiers of that time. Emotional and something we all should witness. Bring a coat, chilly down in the tunnels.

We loved the tour at the Wellington Tunnels. Our three children thoroughly enjoyed them as well. The audio tour along with the guided tour was informative and interesting.

Tours are fully guided and timed. Don't know if they do advanced booking. We turned up on a quiet Sunday morning and waited 20 mins for our tour start.

You will be lucky to find a group that has pre booked. It's a brilliant place to visit and obviously very popular. Keep checking in for cancellations.
